FOFR Logo

Friends of Our Florida Reefs (FOFR) is a volunteer 501c3 nonprofit, non-governmental citizen support organization founded in 2015, dedicated to assisting and enhancing the critical efforts of the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Coral Reef Conservation Program (FDEP CRCP) to conserve and protect the northern section of the Florida Reef Tract – over 100 miles of natural coral reefs stretching directly offshore between Martin and Miami-Dade counties.

FOFR has the ability to help the FDEP CRCP fill significant budget gaps, prepare for a rapid response to reef emergencies, participate in education and outreach, and conduct direct action in southeast Florida. To address these important needs, goals and objectives, FOFR relies on donations, gifts, and grants from the public, corporations, and various foundations.

Please visit www.floridareef.org to learn more about FOFR’s reef-saving mission and how you can help! Membership is open to the public. Thank You.
